I am guided by a knowing that immersing myself into the feelings, sensations, and instincts will offer deep insights into that which I explore. I center an energy based approach to design & artmaking.

Knowledge
& Knowing

I deconstruct the notion of intellectual superiority, and value both learned wisdom, natural wisdom, and ancestral wisdom. I believe that knowledge comes in many forms, and that it is not stored only in our mind, but also in our bodies, spirits, and lineages. I seek to remember and resurface ancient technologies and ways of knowing that are essential to shape our futures.

Divestment from oppressive systems

I seek to be in right relationship with myself, with others, and the natural world, as we invest in structures of care, restorative justice, and interconnectedness. I reject constricting ideas of professionalism, social conditioning, and capitalist systems that erase our autonomy.

Self-Determination

I center the ability to make decisions and live our lives from a place of rootedness in oneself, without outside pressures, influences, or oppression. I believe in our right to reimagine and define ourselves from an empowered place.

Sacred Adornment

I immerse myself in beauty, and hold deep appreciation for the ability to fashion one’s image into an offering to the highest creation. I practice this in my expression of self, and I imbue it into my world building practice. In creating reverence in the ways we adorn our bodies and our spaces, we can convey deep meaning into our visual presentations.
